I had pancakes and bacon. The bacon was crispy just how I like it. The pancakes were good to. I'm trying the biscuit and gravy next time.

We really enjoy the food here but I am only giving one star because we enjoy picking up our food and eating at home but for the last 4 times we call to order either no one will answer the phone or it goes straight to voicemail. When we go in to order and tell them they just say they don’t know what’s wrong and one time even went over and hung the phone up because they had left it off. We’ll be getting our food elsewhere from now on

This is a nice little place to go if you like breakfast at night. At least that's why I go. They make great scrambled eggs,hash browns that will make ya eat too many. Really good biscuits and the gravy ain't to bad. And I always get a pancake. I say a pancake because just one will fill your plate. Yummy. Great coffee, with free refills. And their usually open 24/7. Clean bathrooms that are gender specific. Nice waitresses. So if you're in the mood for breakfast I highly recommend.

Yummy homemade food for the hungry traveler. I believe this is a chain restaurant in the south similar to Waffle House. Service was great and food was delicious 😋.

Always come late at night and order grilled chicken salads to-go. Never had any issues, and they are always friendly to my wife when she picks them up for us.

The food was great, per the usual. Big props to the cooks! But the majority of the waitresses are not friendly. They dont smile and act like it's an inconvenience to do their job.. a smile and kind gesture would go a long way in their service and probably help with their tips too...

Had Breakfast there Saturday at 11am and the place was packed. Got a booth right away, server was there quickly and with a smile. Our breakfast was hot, cooked the way we wanted and we left completely satisfied. Could not ask for more and we will return.

Really neat old fashioned diner. The waffle was very good. We stopped here because Apple Maps said it was a Waffle House, but I’m glad it did!

Only place in town for 24 hr food but it's worth it very good staff and good tasting well priced food better than waffle house

The food is good just go take your time and enjoy. Prices are slightly elevated but tolerable. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. A nice place to visit. 😀

This was the worst experience I have ever had for the following reasons. 1. I had to go up and ask for our drinks. 2. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. 3. When it did as you can see in the photo it sucked. There wasn’t any chili on the hotdogs, we had to take chili from 2 hotdogs to get enough for one hotdogs. 4. The chili was cold. 5. When I went to pay for our food the waitress lwas very apologetic, but they didn’t want to discount our food. My husband didn’t eat his hotdog. We will never go back again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Understaffed, they messed up my order not once but twice when we were the only ones in the shop. Literally, every table was a mess and the bathroom was nasty. I'd say this was a one-off but nope the same thing happened the first time too.

I came in with my son, sat down at an open booth and proceeded to wait. There was no friendly hello or any formal greeting upon entering. As we sat, a few of the employees behind the counter had noticed us, one waitress was clearing the table directly to our front. Still no recognition. Upon completion, she went behind the counter and proceeded to play on her phone.Not one single waitress came by to take our drink order within being there for 10 minutes. Upon this mark I walked out. This has happened to my son and I TWICE at this establishment! The food is decent and maybe one day they will hire better staff. Until then.... I will continue to give my business to Scotty’s and the other local restaurants.

Waitress was not very attentive but breakfast was fine

This place advertises 24 hrs. Under new ownership! Well new owners need to change business hours. In the last 2 weeks I have had the door locked in my face on 3rd shift 4 times. This is ridiculous! When the sign says open and the employees run to door to lock it and act like they don't see you. The owners need to fire these people and put people in there wanting to work.

We usually enjoy a great breakfast here but I'm only giving you 4 stars because one of your cooks has no clue how to cook scrambled eggs. "Here's a Tip" add milk or half and half when scrambling, butter the flattop, and cook. It seems that every time the dark haired girl with glasses cooks my eggs they're nasty and look nothing like scrambled eggs. I'm sorry to complain but it's not rocket science.

County fried steak well over cooked never had a paty melt that had lettuce and tomatoes

Overall, this experience was alright and typical for a coffee house waffle shop kind of meal. The food was average. I had the chuckwagon sandwich with a order of fries. I ordered water with lemon. I received the water, not the lemon , but I'm not picky so no complaint. Five stars because the device was great and the price fair for this experience.

This is no longer the Coffee House Waffle Shop, it is now the Coffee House Dinner under new ownership. This has made a big difference. The professionalism has increased greatly. The food, service and prices are all better. In a small town like Taylorsville, this makes a big difference. In stead of "it's after midnight, we'll have to go to the Coffee House", it's now "we can always drop by the Coffee House Dinner for something good". 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, breakfast anytime of the day, if you're very hungry and don't want to cook for yourself, you can go get a good meal for a reasonable price. If you're not a breakfast person, I recommend the all day lunch specials. It's not gourmet food, but it's a good meal at a good price. My thanks go out to the new owners of the coffee house dinner!

The food and service is great here. We come alot for breakfast and the Bacon Egg and Cheese on toast with Hashbrowns is delicious. Also love the grits... The new manager is great and really came in and making it even better!

Food was very good hot fresh and my dr pepper was good not flat at all. But i didnt get any refills the entire time i was here tonight which may be cause they were fixing to close I'm not sure though. But the food was pricy to. And the cook seemed to be upset cause the watriess was taking our order after it was 9:25.

Biscuits are buttery and light great value for your money. Everyone is friendly and smiling. Can use new tables

Great place to eat breakfast.

The food there was delicious. My kids and I enjoyed our breakfast. The cook Kayla and waitress Tip are very nice. Pretty much everyone there are awesome.

My pecan waffle with no syrup, just powdered sugar and whip cream was awesome. Our waitress was nice and friendly and even made my waffle happy to see me! (In other words she drew a smiley face with the whip cream on my pecan waffle.)

My husband and I liked going here. Our visit yesterday made us decide we are not going back. The menu has changed and staff not friendly. Such a shame too because it was a great place. I dont know who the new owners are but maybe should you should follow the phrase if it's not broke dont fix it.

The breakfast menu is easy to read, affordable, and expertly cooked. My coffee cup is never empty and the staff is very friendly. I recommend the loaded hash browns.
